3) There is More to Learn After Receiving a Black Belt. In Gwinnett HapKiDo Martial Arts, the symbolical meaning of a black belt means, “Beginning of New Cycle.” All of our students begin with basics of the martial art style starts at White Belt and progress through twelve other belts, the twelfth being black. After that, there are second year black belts, third year black belts, mastery levels, and way beyond.
