Martial Arts Buford – As parents, we will do anything to prevent our kids from going through a hard time during childhood. Maybe it’s because we have learned our lessons from when we were kids and hope to pass on the wisdom to our own. From our experiences as parents and Martial Arts Instructors, it’s safe to say that part of the success in in helping kids grow is to show them the love in learning new things. We want them to grow, to love life, and to be successful.

And sometimes helping them find that one thing they enjoy is a challenge.

But from our experience, when kids first come to class, something happens to them. They become excited in what they’re doing. They realize that learning Martial Arts is fun, and that with practice, they can become super ninjas. So as a result, they start becoming self-motivated, ambitious, & eager to learn something new!

And these positive changes are just from finding something to care about.

Martial Arts Duluth – There are so many health rules. And when you’re starting on your health journey, they can get overwhelming.

A great tip when you’re starting out: start out simple.

Start by making a goal to just start working out.

Even though there are all these suggestions of the best times to workout, don’t worry about that just yet. Just make it a goal to workout once a day.

Even if that’s 30 mins. walking a day. And/or making it to 2 Martial Arts Duluth classes a week. In fact, we have multiple times throughout the week. Pick a couple times, and just come. We guide you through the rest!

Most importantly, become consistent with those goals. So if 30 mins walking or 2 classes a week, the next goal would be to stick with it for the next four weeks.

And if you can manage to keep up with this new change, then you can add 1 or 2 other health changes to your lifestyle. Because when you aim to improve your overall lifestyle, rather than just surviving another diet or exercise fad, you achieve better results.

Martial Arts Cumming – There are great misconceptions when it comes to Martial Arts. As students realize that we do not teach how to stop bullets by staring at them, or how to fly through the air with great force, another misconception deals with whether Martial Arts makes kids more violent.

What we emphasize greatly is that Martial Arts is not about teaching students to go pick fights. Rather, it’s more about teaching them how to create peace. By teaching how to be confident with themselves, they learn how to handle life’s curve balls better.

Sometimes a peer can be mean, or a child finds themselves being picked on. What Martial Arts does is actively teaching students how to handle those situations, without having to get into a fight. They learn the importance of reaching out to trusted teachers and parents, and how to talk down from avoiding getting into a fight. They understand that they could use self-defense if ultimately necessary, but they don’t have to.
